Sidermec s.r.l started up in the sector of mechanical machining in 1967.
By March 1997 it had taken up 1,800 mq on a total area of around 4,800 mq. After the removal in 2014 from Novellara to Reggio Emilia, Sidermec s.r.l. now occupies a plant of 2,600 mq on a total area of 5,700 mq and counts on the presence of about 28 employees and workers.
Sidermec s.r.l. boasts almost half-century of experience in the following sectors: bar lathes, working from Ø 8 to Ø 80 mm; horizontal second position lathes and a vertical one with capacity up to Ø 800x800mm; both horizontal and vertical machining centers.
Market requirements led Sidermec s.r.l. to gradually add to the early machining for endothermic engines and the tractor sector, the hydraulic, automotive and wind energy sectors, and machining for electric motor, including the building of drive shafts and the following insertion in the rotor and balancing with or without turning.

2015
Sidermec s.r.l. avails itself of its production and organization skills to supply a more and more complete and effective service in the field of mechanical machining. Its customers especially value: the Quality System, the authentic warranty, the versatility and the readiness when answering to sudden demands thanks to its computerized production and organization system which allows clear and reliable delivery times.

2014
Sidermec s.r.l. felt the need to harmonize and make more efficient its production and organization structure and, therefore, it decided and implemented the removal of the whole plant from Novellara to Reggio Emilia, in Mancasale industrial zone, 500m far from the bypass and Reggio Emilia exit from the railway A1.

2002
Sidermec s.r.l. put into effect new industrial synergies, by merging with the firm Ferioli s.r.l. from Reggio Emilia, specialized in secondary machining with both horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers. In 2010 Sidermec s.r.l. took over the production line of this firm becoming a unified manufacturing reality.

1999
By widening its plant, Sidermec s.r.l. also specialized in machining for the hydraulic, automotive and electric motor sectors and later for the wind energy sector. The need for a System Quality Certification arose and was consequently obtained by the DNV body in 1999.
